Greetings from Plustrust!

We hope you have been keeping well and all those near and dear to you are safe. We are happy to share our newsletter for the period August 2020 to April 2021. Despite constraints we have been able to increase the fellowships. Our Hubs will nurture women to become changemakers and entrepreneurs. In a span of 3 years, we hope to create an ecosystem of support in each hub location and envision that the hubs will become independent in 5 years.

We invite you to enjoy the read and spread the word about our work. Your support has been instrumental in bringing us this far! We look forward to your continued encouragement as we expand our efforts with two hubs this year!

Sajid Ali came to hear of Plustrust through Samvada and their Baduku college. He has been running an organisation called ‘Rotte’ for the social uplift of the downtrodden. Manoj Singh Rathore @ Parivartan, Itarsi MadhyaPradesh

Manoj runs a small business in Itarsi town and his communication center is a hub for many young people. Manoj wished to work on Bird Conservation in Itarsi town. He noticed that many common birds like sparrows, pigeons, crows were fast disappearing. The decline in their population was very noticeable. The reasons were many -fewer trees, increasing heat, pollution, radiation, machine vibration and so on. He was keen to what could be done. Manoj had tried various things like a bird bath on his terrace and so on. Yet he knew that his lone efforts fell far short of the needs in summer. Workshop on May 2015

On the occasion of Plustrust day (May 7) we are going to organize a workshop on 7-10 May, 2015. Apart from previous years, this year we are going to help the selected fellows in reframing their ideas and give it a meaningful shape so that they can create positive impact to their society.
