Application Process
The approach is inherently flexible and the fellowship process has been adapted to address emerging needs and issues.
Rural Women Edupreneur (RWE) Fellowship
For women changemakers who wish to improve quality and access to education and benefit marginalized children in rural and remote locations with poor schooling facilities. 74 RWE fellowships were offered from 2015-2022 and many are continuing their work beyond the fellowship period.
Return to Roots Fellowship
For women who want to pilot service enterprises on aspects like skill development, and basic services in their community. R2R fellows run their own service enterprises and simultaneously develop skills among other women service local needs. 20 R2R fellowships were offered from 2020-2022 and 14 are continuing their work beyond the fellowship period.
Changemaker Fellowships
For enthusiastic youth who wish to work on inclusive education and animal welfare and other related issues on a slightly larger scale. The fellowship offers them personal financial security as they test out their innovative ideas. 37 change maker fellowships were offered from 2010-2022 and many are continuing their work beyond the fellowship period.
Coaching Fellowships
For changemakers and Alumni who want to enhance their performance and achieve their goals. This was introduce in 2021 with the Karnataka Coaching Council of WICCI. 7 women availed the services of 7 established and reputed coaches over a period of 5 months.
Community Health Entrepreneur
For women eager to improve healthcare related services especially after the COVID crisis. The pilot batch of 21 women have been trained to deliver 11 basic tests and generate an income stream for themselves while serving their community. This is in collaboration with Bahaar Foundation and Portea

- Listen to their inner voice

Greetings from Plustrust!
We are happy to announce our Anchor applications are out now, you can read and we request you to share the same within your network.
At Plustrust we continue our endeavors to identify and incubate women’s initiatives, especially social enterprises, in rural communities. We are building on our experience working with Edupreneurs and Changemakers in the last few years through our Rural Women Edupreneurs (RWE), Return to Roots(R2R), and Changemakers fellowships.
We invite you to send in your application for the Anchor program depending on your interest.
Program: Anchors for the RWE/R2R fellowship program for local replication
We invite Changemakers and experienced Edupreneurs who wish to understand the Plustrust fellowship model and adapt it to their needs. If you are an individual/group of individuals working directly with communities and keen to support individual women Edupreneurs in your areas then you may apply for this program.
The Anchors will gain an in-depth understanding of the Plustrust model in a 3-day orientation + facilitation and observation of the RWE batch.
Selected Anchors will replicate our fellowship program in their regions and receive financial and mentoring support.
