Anchor Network

Plustrust Anchors Network

Our reach has spread in an organic way, by word of mouth thanks to the consistent help and support from our former fellows, their mentors and associates. This spread shown in the map below has been possible because of the anchor development program. The anchors are themselves grassroot changemakers and they are completely responsible for selecting and managing a batch of 5 to 10 fellowships.

Based on experience we have evolved the Anchor Development Program to train potential Anchors.  They have acquired the capability to identify and work with RWE/RTR batches independently by actually going through the entire experience. They have absorbed the core values of Plustrust and are able to retain the quality and intensity of contact, which is a hallmark of the Plustrust fellowship process.

Plustrust currently has14 active anchors of whom 4 are Plustrust Alumni.

For our Anchors, this paves the way to develop a well-knit group, aligned to working on inclusive education and basic services in a given context. Plustrust also offers curated learning opportunities for Anchors and with this experience they are ready to expand their own organization and their local network.

Aastha Harlalka, a young student set out to discover what it takes to be an anchor and she has captured their work in a unique booklet. We invite you to enjoy her lyrical style as well as the detailed description of their actual work to understand the role our anchors play.
