Dr. Lalitha Iyer | Managing Trustee
She is Gowri’s mother and a consultant with a special interest in institutional change facilitation in social sector. She was a Director of Bharatiya Samruddhi Financial Services Ltd, of the Basix group and is a professional member, Indian Society for Applied Behavioral Sciences (ISABS). She has been the external anchor for the Roopantaran initiative of Sir Ratan TataTrust.
She is the author of “The Strategic Business Spiral” (2001) and has co-edited “Institutions Consultants and Transformation – Cases Studies from the Development Sector” and co-authored ‘Whose Sustainability Counts? BASIX Long March from Microfinance to Livelihoods” and “Rescuing Railway Children” (2013).
She worked as an officer in SBI for over two decades and headed Vidyaranya, a progressive school in Hyderabad as Principal for three years (1998-2001) and has been closely associated with Ananda Bharathi a non-formal school for girls. She worked as a consultant in Thinksoft Consultants Hyderabad till 2009 and moved to Bangalore thereafter.

Shanti Yeachuri | Trustee
She is Gowri’s French teacher at the Alliance Française de Hyderabad and mentor. She is a post graduate in French who worked as a teacher and translator before she moved into the Non-Profit sector. Currently an independent consultant based in Hyderabad, she earlier worked with HMRI, Hyderabad and ThinkSoft Consultants. She is interested in continuing professional education for leadership in non-profits and social enterprises. She has a wealth of experience in training and project management for large system change. She has been trained and certified as an Organizational Change Facilitation Practitioner (OCFP) by the HID forum, Bangalore and has a PGCHRM from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Shanti Yeachuri’s specializes in large scale change facilitation, process standardization, program management, institutional development and capacity development.
Smriti Kedia | Trustee
She is Gowri’s room mate and friend in TISS is an Engineer who decided to move into the social development sector and completed her M A in Social Work from TISS. She currently lives in Udaipur and has worked for Naandi foundation in Hyderabad, Jargiti Yatra in Mumbai and is an independent consultant for various small and medium sized NGOs in Udaipur.
Her current areas of work and interest include women issues, menstrual health and migrant labour. She shares many of Gowri’s passions and views and brings zeal and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Charu Bhati | Associate
Charu has started volunteering for Plus Trust since 2015. She has a Bachelor’s of Arts in Rural Development from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Tuljapur and Masters of Art in Development from Azim Premji University, Bangalore.
Currently she works as Training Manager in Action for Adolescent girls Project (UNFPA) in Jatan Sansthan, Udaipur a non-government organization that supports life skill education among rural adolescent girls. She also works as a trainer on the subject of Menstruation Health and Hygiene under UGER project of Jatan and imparts training in collaboration with government and non-government organizations in different states like Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. As an associate with Plus Trust, she coordinates the fellowships and is working towards exploring the idea of women edupreneurs.
Prior to joining Jatan Sansthan, she worked and volunteered for various organizations like Azim Premji Foundation, Seva Mandir, National Foundation of India (Delhi), District Rural Development Agency, Women and Child Projection cell, Sadhana, Child Line etc.
Associates of the Trust will take responsibility for the initial activities and scout for suitable projects.
The project holders will have access to advisors according to the needs of their work.
